The Syngonium Variegated Chiapense is quite unlike most other Syngoniums and is a must have for any collector. The leaves can grow to 2 feet long and do not become deeply lobed or split like other mature syngonium, instead keeping their shield-like shape. It resembles a philodendron, but the irritating white sap is a clear giveaway to its placement in the Syngonium genus. This is a fast grower and vigorous climber and will do best with a support that its aerial roots can cling to.
